Custom FRP Radome Solutions
High-Strength | Signal Transparent | Weather Resistant
What is an FRP Radome?
An FRP radome (Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic Antenna Cover) is a protective enclosure that shields antennas or radar systems from harsh environments without interfering with electromagnetic signals. Designed for 5G base stations, satellite communication, weather radar, and more — our radomes offer high RF transparency, superior mechanical strength, and custom-made precision.

FAQ – Custom FRP Radome
1. Can you manufacture radomes based on our custom design or drawings?
Yes, we specialize in OEM/ODM production. Just send us your CAD drawings or technical specifications, and our engineering team will assist in reviewing and confirming the design feasibility.
2. What materials do you use for your FRP radomes?
Our radomes are made from high-performance fiberglass-reinforced plastic (FRP), using the RTM (Resin Transfer Molding) process. The standard matrix includes epoxy or polyester resin with optional UV protection.
3. What is the typical RF (signal) transparency of your radomes?
Our radomes provide high RF transparency, typically ≥98%, with minimal signal attenuation. We can also tailor material thickness and formulation for specific frequency ranges (C, X, Ku, Ka bands, etc.).
4. What sizes or shapes can you produce?
We support a wide range of sizes and shapes, including dome, cylinder, sphere, and customized geometries. The maximum diameter we can produce is [insert your max diameter, e.g. 2.5 meters], depending on your design.
5. What surface treatment or color options are available?
Standard color is off-white or light grey, but we can provide customized RAL colors upon request. Surface finish can be matte or glossy. UV-resistant gel coating is available for outdoor applications.
6. What information do you need for a quotation?
To provide an accurate quote, please share:
Technical drawings or 3D model (STEP/IGES preferred)
Application scenario (frequency band, indoor/outdoor, environment)
Quantity and estimated annual usage
Any special requirements (e.g., wind load, mounting holes, surface finish)
